LEJOG - Charrity starts hat ome...

Note this is written so that spellchecker Kathryn and ex executive whore titter Ken can keep hens elves amused :-). My com putter shell wrecker says hall his oak hay :-)

Eye was very tyred this morning.  The day hoff routine his to do many thinks including to luck after you're body.  So out came the rubs and the bun cream.  This time following Catherine's recommendation on how beast perhaps to deel with a cycling initiated nappy crash.

So there eye was lain on the bed, legs akimbo hen de hair, with ajar of Sudocrem hand a tissue to wipe my and hat my side.  Eye carefully put a blob of kreem on my leased flavourite flinger hand slid my and inside my shreddies hand applied sed kreeam gently with a zoo thing circular motion to the saw bit.  Hand promptly felt a sheep.

Eye waked some time l8tr spreadeagled on the bed with my and stil hen my shreddies knot knowing if the made, who was busy hen the corridor, had bean in to clean the rum.   Ow deer.  The bum cream open canister hand and tissue were still hat my slide.  Eye fell hoff the bed faffing! Hoe hoe hoe!  She grave me a hairy nice knowing 'your on your mown aren't ya' kinda simile when eye left my rum dragon the bag of dog sight to the lawndrette.

Hall done, ham now hall sweetness and lite hay gain aving also ad the time to have a gud kleen shave and so stop mizzen hay gain looking like a propper bun on a bike.  However, my goat he his becoming rather Sea Sea Top'fish..  Ear eye ham has hay sharp dressed man :-)

This is the root (grey line) that my sat nav says hive done sofa.

Stop that.  Stoppit.  That's enuf of that :-). Now onto something a bit more serious..

Its a crime that there are people out there who are into ripping people off and taking charity donations for their own use.  Just watched such a programme on the BBC this morning and those committing the crime really don't seem to be bothered about what they do.  Its an easy fix to get access to cash at the expense of others feelings and wishes. It's the worst fraud.  Lock them up I say.  Throw the key away!

As you may know I have a couple of Just Giving pages so that anyone following me on this journey can, if they wish, make a donation to either Cancer Research UK (CRUK) or the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), these being just two of many many worthwhile causes and charities to support.  I'll add the links to this blog once more on my last day as I don't want to press people all the time to give.

But in my travels, most people I have spoken to are doing LEJOG and the other things to raise money for charities too.  Its a trait of humans to do this and to see in what way they might be able to help those in dire need.  Even in their day to day work.

For example Gentle Giant David's wife, Fiona, is full time working with the Home Start charity which recognises that 'everyone needs a bit of help sometimes'.  People who feel isolated, suffering an illness they find it difficult to talk about, overwhelmed by death, struggling to cope with a disability or a relationship problem or struggling with the emotional and physical demands of having twins or are tired, unhappy and exhausted (Yes! for sure - I KNEW there was a good reason to  spend some time with them :-)

Kathryn is also a volunteer at the Yorkshire Arboretum helping to keep the place beautiful.  She is now thinking of how she might influence the Arboretum Director to see if it may be used for mindfulness or to help people to deal with Stress and Anxiety being that it is a quiet and beautiful place to visit.

There are loads of charities worthy of support out there.  I need to sort mysen out now that I have the time to help.   Time is valuable and post this selfish jaunt I will help.

I hope that one day you may also find time to do so too.  Just watch out for the bloody LEJOG'gers!
